God created this world and created mankind. He cares for mankind night and day. At the beginning, man, innocent and carefree, lived happily under God’s care. Corrupted by Satan, man stayed further and further away from God, forgot God’s instructions, forsook God’s way, and abandoned himself to hideous depravity. He lost the blessings and promises of God and fell under the wrath of God….
Look back to the history: Noah and his family survived the deluge, for Noah obeyed God’s calling. The people of Sodom were exterminated by God, for they set themselves in mortal enmity to God. The people of Nineveh received God’s mercy, for they were convinced of God and thus confessed their sins and repented. The entire Jewish nation was subjected to destruction, for they nailed Jesus to the cross….
